Trainer path:
The academy distinguishes 3 ranks of trainers:
Rank 1:
- a participant of a two-day workshop "Train the Trainer"
- presenting once idea of work and discussing it with one of the Spirit of Leadership supervisors
Rank 2:
- Completed Rank 1
- Completing School for Trainers or Coaches (minimum 100 hrs of training) or a record of work as a coach or a trainer
Rank 3:
- Completed Rank 2
- Co-hosting at least 2 two-day workshops along with one of the Academy's supervisors and receiving a positive recommendation
- Membership in EAHAE, participating in conferences and in advanced TTT
- Having skills or support essential to run exercises with horses safely
Superwisor:
- Completed Rank 3
- A record of work with the use of Spirit of Leadership method (at least 200 hrs)
Work with Spirit of Leadership method assumes a team/a person having coaching skills (such as: teamwork, abilities to analyse the process which a group is undergoing, concentrating attention to an individual, group and its members behaviour, dealing with problems during a training, abilities to create training modules and to evaluate trainings' effectiveness etc.), but also a professional instructor who can provide a safe course of exercises with horses.
A professional instructor who can provide a safe course of exercises with horses should be:
- able to provide a record of 6000 hrs of being among horses - "from the ground"
- aware of horse psychology and its instinctive behaviour
- skilled in understanding non verbal signals from horses
